December was a relatively quiet month - at least for my portfolio performance as the value stayed relatively stable (+0.17%). However, in terms of portfolio decision it was probably the biggest month in a while, as i decided to sell the Vanguard FTSE All-World I was holding for the mortgage and cash in. I sold in total 56.3K Euro and posted a capital gain of 17K. I kept the cash until the new year - more for fiscal reasons than anything else to be honest and I will reinvest it in bonds.
Looking at the full year, it was again honestly speaking great (and unexpected). The portfolio gained almost 7% and the dividends reached almost 6K Euro (more on it below). I can say I was not expecting this performance in 2025 after the 2024 we had.
I am happy most of all for the amount I was able to add to the portfolio (around 32k Euro) because I was not expecting such a high amount. Keep in mind that the screenshot below (Investiert: - 6.1K Euro) is impacted by the sale in December which is now pure cash, otherwise the amount would be different.
Dividends in December came in low and that is why I did not cross 6.0K in the year as I was expecting. The payout of a couple ETFs moved to January, so it is just a minor shift. Emerging Markets delivered 239 Euro and Invesco S&P High Div Low Volatility around 205 Euro, more or less in line with 2024.
The total dividends accumulated over time have now reached 23.4K Euro.
